Craig Roberts is a prolific English author and the only living person to have a book written by him selected for Oprah's Book Club. He was born in 1975 in Bradford, West Yorkshire. He studied English at Imperial College London from 1994-1998, where he served as president of the student union. In 1998, he worked as a waiter in a restaurant in Scotland before moving to Devon where he currently lives with his wife and two children
Craig is the author of several books, including The Hotelier, which was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize and described by Booker Prize judge Jonathan Trigell as "a novel that takes place almost entirely in a single hotel".
